WHO WE ARE
STBM Kelowna is a community of born again believers in Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach who have responded to the Voice of God/Elohim calling them to an identity in a Biblically based lifestyle. The Word of God tells us about a mystery in Romans 11 involving the Olive Tree of Israel and the two groups of people who are called branches of that tree. They represent the House of Judah and the House of Ephraim whom the Prophets said God/Elohim would reunite as one group of people in the Messianic Era/End of Days.
Ralph Messer, founder and president of STBM (Simchat Torah Beit Midrash), is a dynamic public speaker, an influential teacher, a successful businessman, an entrepreneur, and, more importantly, our mentor and teacher.

WHAT WE BELIEVE AND DO
We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those who trust in Jesus/Yeshua receive eternal life having their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Those who do not believe, experience eternal separation from the Presence of God/Elohim.
Each week of every month STBM Kelowna studies and teaches Biblical Torah. Our weekly Torah cycle follows a traditional worldwide Messianic study model involving the first five books of your Bible – Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy – including the Prophets and New Testament/Covenant writings.
Our mission is to help God’s families, individuals, widows and orphans move away from a life of “preference” often producing a life of struggle found outside the instruction of the Mosaic Covenant, into a lifestyle found in the Principles/Commandments, given to Moses, producing blessing and prosperity – financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Our vision is to introduce God’s special, called-out people to His teaching and instruction, the Torah, given by Jesus/Yeshua to Moses in its first written form at Mt. Sinai and then again in Acts 2 .
Our focus at STBM Kelowna is to teach the foundational truths of our Messiah and follow the mandate given by Him in Matt 28:18-20.
